The design of this website is heavily based on They Might Be Giants' freeware application that was created to promote their 5th album, John Henry. The app was created using Apple Hypercard and allowed the user to listen to a MIDI snippet of each of their 20 new songs.
For this website I recreated the look by hand from the original program, although a HTML5 (and JS) mockup of the application also exists that keeps the original song-playing functionality, which can be found here.
